Poem: boy, what’s your name again? – 10/12/21

I don’t want somebody like you
I never wanted to be ruined and unfulfilled
    what I hope for
    what I wish for
    what I dream
    is the potential for repair
    to love, succeed, to be

are you part of that picture?
were you planning to be part of that fluidity?
that blossoming flower and the stamen reaching forth for
    that other, pollinator, conjoiners?

the truth is I never wanted anyone like you.
    I don’t know what I wanted.
    but what I needed,
    what I need,
    now that’s a different assertion.
    a competition?

Perhaps, win my heart if competition you
    don’t dread,
weave the dreamcatchers, dreamscapes fly in wisps
and while away time, time, time,
and we’ll sleep until noon, or, at least, we’ll pretend to…

wet dreaming lashes and wanton desirous passions,
last night I wondered where you were, on your way
to teach so many life lessons to my heart
when it’s on heat with fire and ice and dancing
with disastrous notions which only have accents
upon the truest of consultations –

darling, oh darling, comment on my flow,
    accentuate the designation of self-knowledge
    which grows,
display all the personal power and growth
    you have ascertained,
for this, I find utterly alluring,
boy, what’s that again, your name?

    Poem: steely gorges – 10/11/21

    bombastic
    the moment is fantastique
when I shudder with deep peace
    it’s overall amazing
    but consequences consequences
    of this goddamned show
    pantomime the pleasure, suffering,
    will I watch it go?

I acknowledge it is worthy of being much adored
    the events forthcoming
    unexpected
    yet awaited
    something silently asked, yearned for
    it’s inherently palatable
this desire we can call home
but indulgences in memorandum are dangerous
won’t we desire them less? No, let the heart roam.

brightened sets of eyes sharing the same thoughts
    hands extended, belly-fire,
knowing we are each other ours,
    to find that other
    to share the feelings
    the same desire
    perspirations
    knowingly
    entered into sufferings
    because together they don’t seem
too harsh, abrasive, in the end

consequences are now like a steely dance
consumption of the knowing urge is like
    icing on soft gorges
the curvatures on your back allows me to
    slide and slip away
let me lick the air of delicate understanding,
share our moments for another day.

  • Poem: Arrival – 02/09/21

    Poem: Arrival – 02/09/21

    Bass throbs, soulful beings,
    sends hope forth, ecstasy springing,
    accumulative movements,
    dance, stomp, flow, singing,
    heavenly brightness, utterly amazing.

    Grinning, growing, flowing,
    feeding the memories with presence
    of mind growing,
    understanding not of false currencies,
but true depth, the priceless act of self-knowledge.

Enrichment of beat, melody, beat, flow,
    watch all breathe together,
    exist, inhale, delving powerful unknowns,
    fluidity of momentum,
yet treble and bass must war as one,
    disharmonious then tacit agreement
    portentous enlightenment ne’er come undone.

    Now, follow the music for
    your own vivid truths,
    enriched understanding,
    crimson red, deep blue infused,
dance to the flow and rhythm of
    your own unique path,
    you’ll arrive,
    you’ve arrived,
    finally, at long last.

  • Poem: A Moon’s Search – 18/06/20

    Poem: A Moon’s Search – 18/06/20

    I stare at the moon,
    she is full
    and round
    as you can see,

    beautiful, chubby
    smiling cheeks,
    glowing luminescence,
    she is so free.

    She travels through
    the night hoping
    to gain her
    sought-after company,

    Sun, Sun, Sun,
    when will you come,
    and make this moon feel
    so complete?
    She requests you hurry!

    She searches high,
    she searches low,
    but his presence isn’t revealed,
    not on show.

    Where is this Romeo
    to her hopeful smile,
    will he return? –
    surprise! –
    in a little while?

    After a night spent trudging,
    though tirelessly travelling,
    inspecting every inch
    of the cosmos,

    she searched arduously
    but now
    sadness and despair,
    of her overwhelmed state,
    none can deny.

(Have you ever seen a moon cry?
    Nor had I,
    but there’s always a
    first for some things.)

    But there is this
    tiny window
    of opportunity,
    of allotted time,
    during which Sun and Moon’s
    paths will cross,

    Ecstatic be they both!
    Lovers reunite,
    kisses upon healthy cheeks,
    delicate mouths and lips,
    and openly appreciative,
    fervent eyes.
