Poem: Living in the Moment – 29/09/21

To truly live in the moment,
to take stock and simply breathe,
    enrich yourself in the present,
    feeling, being, see,
understanding that being in the current,
    the here and now,
    to appreciate,
that which is all around us,
enough to encapsulate ourselves as of late.
    Knowing ourselves more and more
which comes with time and growing sense of selves,
being able to search our experiences and
    know what to seek out,
to be happy with our discoveries,
and not need to further delve,
to be accomplished in our journeys,
the ability to breathe within and exhale,
to rid ourselves of stress and pain,
    relieving, an inner peace,
something which will one day come with ease,
    time will surely tell.

Prose: River of Consciousness – 15/09/21

I feel the river of consciousness flowing, the flow of ethereal joy growing, and the prism of light shine and increase within me, a quiet sense of knowing. Knowledge that life will continue to improve, it is with focus and intent that I’m aware I’ll keep this view, with positivity, an ample amount, enough to dampen any sense of fear or doubt, in myself I have trust and the knowledge that to myself and close others, I will be able to remain devout. There can be occasions when I wonder, have I strayed from the righteous path, was there something awry I performed, or have I mistrusted, an inability to inadequately and naively discern, when really I should have upped and away without a goodbye, from past experiences, perhaps still never having learnt. And the truth of the matter is that often there are circumstances which call for the separation of one from another, without occasion, without proper rhyme or explained reason, for the state of the spirit, it is required to be done, to be gone away from them, without a single word. Their hearts, once appearing warm, have turned cruel and unkind, perhaps self-serving, in a short time. Others, certain types, will be afforded soft explanations, but these may be few and far in between, sometimes nothing is warranted but a deft ascension. A momentous breaking, of a declared separation, of something that turned out to be a farcical and unwarranted, something only aiding a certain type of them. And now, as I listen to quiet flow, of gentle meditations, I know that everything will be fine, for I am allowing this to be so, in subtle time. The tick-ticking of the two room clocks no longer perturbs, but sets a gentle precedence for one another, incorrect in a way, but right in a type of odd style. As though falling into each other, meant to be there for every second for one another, endless, ongoing, with stoic fervour. Isn’t it nice when we are here for one another? A calming click-click, as the seconds tick unevenly with the softened music within my ears makes me calm, flow with the river as I speak from my spirit within, rolling out with words to speak, not with anger, not with a din, with a wave upon wave of undulating rings.

  • Poem: Soulful Sky-Blue – 14/09/21

    Poem: Soulful Sky-Blue – 14/09/21

The colour of his soul is sky-blue,
visceral, with tinges of mottled red.
I view him from an angle of security,
I know more of him than others have dared to have said or can see.
For there is more beneath the surface
of his scruffy-haired expressions, soft words, gentle whimsical looks,
I know more of him than many could ever ascertain,
I know so much more, of truth’s revelation I feel I have to refrain,
to not heed nor allow another intrinsic, curious look.

I know of him intimately, referencing not the physical sense, no,
but more in the manner of what his spirit longs for,
the tunes of his heart and soul,
the innate values disguised beneath a metamorphic
    view of kaleidoscopic arrangement,
the colour scheme as bright as day,
    as least to me,
this is what I’ll dare say.

To the public, he is but a member of society
who skulks about with the most nondescript of ease,
but to me, I know the internal rhythmics of his energies,
and deep within, I know there is something to treasure,
something which needs the space to breathe.
A reasoning, a soft-hued timbre, a melody of parched sorts
calling for just that little bit of extra personal energy,
a tending to, like a sunflower that struggles with his innate ability
to rise forth, just needing some encouragement,
I would guide if I felt it right, if this were meant to be.

But somehow, maybe that path has been long-trodden,
and feelings surfaced should really, perhaps, be forgotten,
I do not know whether nurturing something lost
that’s resurfacing should be nursed back to life again,
but all I know, I know, is his soul is sky-blue,
the sky-blue of an innocent heaven.
Shall I dance and delve into this shade again?

  • Poem: Thy Inner Truths – 11/09/21

Poem: Thy Inner Truths – 11/09/21

    Awakening thy inner truths,
    beauty present,
    spiritual proof,
    the internal reservoirs of light,
make infinite truth anything but a plight.

    Causes within and visions yours,
counteract the substance of irrelevant facts,
cast forth through the shrouded clouds,
    airy mysteries,
    intelligence, wonder, determining that which
    we seek.

What is before my very eyes
    is circumstance, crimson red,
    but unfaltering yet,
a bold vivid view for my heart
    to contemplate upon,
run from the pastels, into the beat
    of another’s drum.

And here will the rhythmic data align,
    linear,
    rich cobalt, emeralds too,
enriched with understanding of linked truths,
brighten the mindset, for I know what to do.

I shall not carry on with anything but
    positive intent,
bringing down the deceit and decimation
    disingenuous song spent,
for deep inside I hear a calling,
    the sparkling of my morning,
    a yearning, a hoping,
    a certain reverent knowing.

Trust not the tide of others’ wisdoms
but find that of your own,
I have searched high and low and I’m still
learning how to trust, and love,
and when push comes to an
    irreverent shove,
and a playful side is shown,
I will counteract that airy, floaty substance with
    something more like my own.

    My spirit, it will shine,
it will take on the strength of truths imbued,
I will be able to be read like a book,
but in terms of knowledge, it is a wanted view.
I know that delving into one’s psyche
is not always preferable for him, nor she,
whomever these people prove to be,

    but, I dare to explore,
    I dare to unwind,
    the visions, the moments,
the arcs and spikes in my mind,
until I become better in myself,
    analysis, truth be told,
    is better with maturity,
one of the perks of growing old.

  • Poem: For the Rain – 08/09/21

Poem: For the Rain – 08/09/21

    I pray for our future,
    I pray for the rain,
the scent upon our once-dry shoulders
    smouldering us,
    yet from angry cloud formations
    we edge away in vain,
    but because we are prone,
prone to the stares of youth,
we smile, and we grin to ourselves
for we know the whole truth.

The motley group stands and witnesses
    as we dance ourselves silly
    in the pelting rain
    and howling breeze,
no longer encumbered by past holdings of
    circumstance and desire to cower,
wind whistles between gapped thighs and knees,
    this is our rain dance,
    feel the shower.

Our power lies within our ability
    to receive,
from God’s land we will cherish
what has been given to us,
    indeed
    we will accumulate the raindrops,
    water stores
    they drench us,
    replenish us,
    we grin and cackle together,
    so much joy,
    so much, galore,
    so much more in store.

    The youth stand and stare;
    they do not understand,
how we, as old souls are apparently
    going mad,
but we are embracing all that is
    being given to us,
Nature in her surety is paddling her wings
among the skyward lake for us,
    you see.

    So, darlings, my youthful obstructions,
you wonderful beings who cannot understand
    our appreciative actions,
wonder not at our ability to shine,
amid the turbulent wind pattern and rain,
but rather watch us embrace all that Mother Nature is willing to give,
    she provides to us,
    she cleanses us,
    cleanses me,
    we are amazed.

This feeling is one in which
    I love to revel in,
we shall continue appreciating for many
    forthcoming days.

Micropoetry: Visions and Proof – 06/09/21

    pray for the wisdom,
for the strength to view the truth,
now what’s here before your eyes
and really is ultimately sheer proof,
an enlightening of visions within the soul,
    reflected in our orbs’ mirrors,
    feel the heartbeats within me,
    wouldn’t you, didn’t you know?
    understanding that we all
    have tales,
    winding, rivers of secrecy
    and shires to explore?
but these are to no avail.
    sometimes they’re better left untouched,
    unasked,
    unexplored,
    allow the breaths of yesteryears
    remain quietened,
    if they happen to speak?
    best they’re ignored.
we all benefit from personal growth
and mistakes if we treat them well,
    didn’t you already know?

  • Poem: Beautiful Soul Knowledge – 04/09/21

Poem: Beautiful Soul Knowledge – 04/09/21

It is a part of me,
my choice of which to give,
    openly or freely,
    absolutely willingly,
    the freedom of positivity,
    the decision to make amends,
    correct that abstract thought pattern,
    that negative plane doesn’t befit
    my type of Earth,

    but instead

    I will reach within,
    grasp, grapple, with whatever
    there is to see,
a part of me is becoming courageous,
    and knowing,
and I love to be encouraging,
and I will speak with kindness not only
    to others,
    but also to myself,
    inside, outside,
    directness, shooting internally,
the truths, the prisms of light
    my heart has been seeking,

    that quiet knowing,
    understanding,
    softness,
    whispering,
    the gentleness of caressing,
    those plaintive words
    that say I am amazing
    without being embarrassed
    or thinking I’m immodest,
    but knowing and appreciating myself
    for me,

Can you truly do the same for yourself?
    looking deep inside,
my words, my trust in you,
    can you believe?
    Can you see?

The amazing person that you’ve grown
    to be,
the wondrous specimen of humanity that
    is becoming more,
    each breath you grow,
    enormously in your soul,
    your spirit,
if you choose the growth pattern to be,

    and now I’ll tell you,
    you’re on the right path,
    keep searching,
    like I keep seeking,
    to know myself,
    know yourself,
    finally, truly, at last.

Ask yourself, are you ready to manifest,
    are you prepared to succeed?
    Feel relief in knowing
    I believe in you,
just as I believe in the beauty of the whistling wind
    weaving through the trees,
    the setting sun with his
beautiful dance on the horizon –

imagine now what it feels like
to be engulfed by the senses,
    overwhelmed and feeling everything wondrous,
    and realise, you’re already travelling
    this long and winding road,
    if you’re with me,
    take my hand,
    and we’ll travel together,
becoming wiser as we learn and know.

    Soul paths and kindred spirits,
    truth unwinds,
heavenly beings watch as we grow,
    wisdom and experiences intertwine.

  • Poem: Prosperous Knowing – 28/08/21

    Poem: Prosperous Knowing – 28/08/21

    While there may be times,
    occasions,
where our world eases it way out of a desired page,
when the messages sent our way are not the type
that we would want to have saved,
why, we wonder, is our pathway so twisted,
so many offshoots for us to forcibly explore?
    I’ll tell you this,
we must map this path stridently,
    assuredly capture it as ours.

Do not wander down garden paths
that seem too delectable to be,
neither stride down avenues that tempt and tease
    with outrageously perfect dreams,
for life requires us to work, and work hard,
and the blessings that are granted to us,
we will accept them with open arms.

    Understand the wisdom we encapsulate
while struggling and experiencing ease of flowing,
momentous knowing in that we are not
limited by our past incorrect understandings,
moving into one path, one street,
    one highway, with prosperous thinking,
I enable myself with wandering and openly flowing,
how will you carry yourself in that path you are at last knowing?
    With beauty of inner understanding?
    Or proud stature, stately knowing?

While we are complete the way that we are,
there is always room for improvements,
in the manner that I know we are capable of,
    personal growth, consciousness, our development,
soul journeying as we’d never known it.
Now’s the time for us to find it,
    for this mission, this power,
for us to embrace and enable it.

  • Poem: Amalgamation of Intention – 27/08/21

Poem: Amalgamation of Intention – 27/08/21

    Being aware of the signs,
    the euphoria,
    the joy of the times,
    the expansive brightened
    colours as they present
    while my soul begins
    to delve.

    The natural high
    developed into true knowledge
via life, nevermore shall I worry
    about contemplation, nor irreverent Strife!
    I’ll pluck from the heavens
    amongst the amalgamating
    cloud patterns,
    an internal direction
    flows as I breathe with
    my dreams,
    absorb their intent,
    my gorgeous search
    for the rest of them.

    For, I am in alignment
    with my path,
    a seismic shifting
    after tumult,
I’ve reached this point at last,
    wanting to give back
    to the world,
    cease to take,
    those times,
    selfish duration,
    it seems I currently have
much to give, as of late!

    My direction makes
    light work of human aid,
    being able to provide,
    a listening ear,
    aware eyes,
    soft voice,
    gentle nature on display
melding into the finest of days.

    My light and intention,
    true desire to provide,
    assist,
    give,
    such satisfaction achieved
    in my heart and theirs
as we freely smile and breathe.

    It’s as though I needed
    to assert these thoughts,
    jot them down,
    recited, no longer
    internally heard,
    a vow to humanity,
    a truth of personal bliss,
    to give to humankind,
    expansion of love,
    the truest way to live.

Poem ~Stream of Consciousness: Precious Artefacts – 26/08/21

breathe in with the power of my soul,
my inner truth, I enter my cavern, the whirlwind of my mind
as extravagant windswept daze enlightens every phase,
    whether past or present,
it is whole, in the right place,
    about face, I will take
the first step in knowing that I,
I am the creator of what
    I need to manifest,
I have the strength, the desire,
the power, to make my world amazing or something worthy
    of being devoured
    whole,
    in momentum,
perfection in its truest form is what I once sought
but now, keeping them at the length of my arm are those
conformers, that I needed to be right, look like this or that,
pull these nonsense, commandeered thoughts out of
    my hat
    and now flutter my eyelids,
    softly, softly,
my world is present but the glory I seek to view
    is pure in ecstatic goodness,
I tap and tap my mind’s eye, hoping to draw
    feelings forth,
    activate something deeper within,
    and I smile to myself,
what have I created, in this moment of
    manifesting madness?
I look back upon the paper,
turn behind me at the pavement,
then two steps back and three steps forth,
as I look over my warbling thoughts,
    I head north within,
    to seek more precious artefacts.
